The Ellis Center is seeking community members to help sponsor a special event at Camp ImpAACt during our ‘Rockstar’ themed day this summer!

This sponsorship opportunity will honor our original Rockstar, and Ellis Center founding student and camper, Elizabeth Adair O’Gorman.

The ‘Rockstar’ themed day at camp will include a wide variety of adapted & fun activities for our campers that are sure to slay:

• Lit Tie-Dye activity with Rockstar inspired designs & color choices

• Live Music with a camper-selected fire playlist by our Music Therapist

• Gettin’ our vibe on where campers will create their own ‘lava’ lamps

• Completing our Rockstar fit by crafting & sharing one-of-a-kind friendship bracelets

• Showing off our rizz during a Rockstar dance party led by Physical Therapist & Adapted Dance Specialist

Our original ‘Rockstar’, Adair O’Gorman, was a remarkable student & camper at Ellis Center beginning back in 2014 whose journey was marked by resilience, courage and extraordinary capacity to bring joy and inspiration to those around her. She faced life with a determination and a zest that was truly inspiring. Her smile, so full of pure joy and warmth, had the power to light up a room & lift the spirits of everyone she encountered.

Adair & her mother, Rhonda, were trailblazers that helped to make Ellis Center what it is today for the many other students, campers and children that have come behind them. We will be forever grateful for Adair and her family for taking the leap to join us & help grow Ellis Center to serve other children in need.
