Are you a local business facing the struggles of the current labor market? Do you have needs or tasks that a volunteer could perform that currently takes away valuable time from yourself or your Team? Let our Students HELP YOU while you help Them!
Our program's goal is to provide training to our students to increase work readiness skills.
These experiences will allow the students to explore different careers and acquire the skills needed to make informed decisions regarding future employment.
Will You Be a Work-Site Partner?
WHAT DO YOU DO?
Work-Site Partner will work with Ellis Staff to identify potential jobs or experiences where needs exist for the Company.
Work-Site Partner will work with Ellis Staff to review equipment, skills, materials, & any needed adaptations in order to make the job or experience accessible for our students.
Work-Site Partner will provide time for collaboration & evaluation of the student on a periodic basis.
Work-Site Partner will be known as an inclusive community supporter & be able to hire the student if desired upon graduation!
WHAT DOES ELLIS DO?
Ellis Staff to identify student interests & abilities.
Ellis Staff will pair students with appropriate Work-Site Partners based on student’s interests and needs.
Ellis Staff to provide monitoring & oversight of the student’s job experiences & ensure safety at all times.
Ellis Staff will provide site-based training related to employment skills, including skills specific to a job site and soft skills needed to be a successful employee.
Ellis Staff will provide transportation to and from sites.
Ellis Staff will provide a Work-Site Partner agreement & liability release
